Second Hand Cross Trainers
The cross-trainer, also known as an elliptical trainer, is one of the wonderful gym equipment’s that works out the majority of your body, hence the name, cross-trainer. If you are looking to lose weight and tone up your legs, hips and arms, then using a cross trainer is a great way to do this as you can burn around 8-12 calories per minute and it is the equivalent of going jogging, hiking and bike riding.

If you hate the idea of going the gym or exercising outside, buying a cross-trainer to use at home is a great way to exercise your whole body whilst being in the privacy of your own home. Also, having your own cross-trainer means you can use it whenever you wish, day or night, without having to wait for someone else at the gym to finish using it. Buying a brand new cross-trainer can be expensive, especially if you are looking to buy a more robust machine or a better brand/model. There are a few different types of cross-trainers on the market that come with a range of different features such as hiking modes, sprinting modes and that come with a seat should you start to feel tired!
There are many people selling their second hand cross-trainers and they are a fraction of the price of brand new machines. This is a benefit to you if you are looking to buy a cross-trainer on a budget or have your heart set on an expensive machine but do not want to pay the expensive RRP. Another advantage of buying a used cross-trainer is that they can be in good condition because they may have been hardly used. A lot of people tend to buy exercise equipment, especially around the New Year, use it a few times and then stop using it. If you think you may only use the cross-trainer a few times before getting bored of it, you can sell the cross-trainer for roughly the same price you paid for it and therefore get most of your money back!
